Seniors

Our seniors had a narrow one point win over Naomh Conaill in Towney last Sunday played in perfect conditions it was a very entertaining match for the large attendance the final score was 0-11 to 0-10, our youthful reserves who again were missing several players put up a good show in their defeat in the opening match and it was a much tighter contest than the score line suggests. Both teams travel to Gaoth Dobhair for their next matches next Saturday with 3:30 and 5pm thrown ins.

Ladies

Our ladies kept up their unbeaten start to the season with victory over Red Hughes on Sunday morning in Towney there’s no match scheduled for this weekend, our Under 16s had a good win at home to Naomh Ultan last Tuesday they travel to Naomh Muire this Thursday in round 10 of the league. On behalf of the Ladies Board, we would like to thank John Curran from Edge Clothing who proudly sponsored us with brand new footballs for our Senior Ladies Team.

Underage

Our Under 15s were defeated at Four Masters on Friday at 7pm they host Naomh Conaill this Monday and then host Ardara on Friday.

Seniors

Our seniors defeated Cloughneely 0-16 to 2-05 in the league on Saturday. The reserve match was cancelled, both sides make the long trip to Malin this Saturday with 4pm and 5:30pm throw ins.

Ladies

Our ladies kept up their good start to the season with a good win away at Sean MacCumhaills on Sunday morning in round six of the league, they travel to Four Masters on Sunday morning in their next outing. Our under 16s lost to Glenfin on Tuesday and they play the same opponents this Tuesday in Towney.

Underage

Our Under 17s had a good draw with St Nauls in their final league match on Monday while the Under 15s play Dungloe in Towney on Friday.

Seniors

Our seniors and reserves made the long trip to Malin on Saturday with both teams well short of regular players, a goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time denied our seniors a win, Ben Rafferty made his senior debut and Ryan Jones made his first start with both players getting points, our reserves put up a good performance but Malin pulled away in the second half. Next up is Naomh Conaill this Sunday with 1:30 and 3pm throw in times.

Ladies

Our ladies match at Four Masters was postponed they host Red Hughes this Sunday morning in their next match, our Under 16 girls are down to play Naomh Ultan this Tuesday but that’s to be confirmed.

Underage

Our Under 15s play Four Masters away on Friday at 7pm.

Young Whistlers

An upcoming Go-Games / Young Whistler Course will be up and running shortly. If anyone is interested in doing this course, they can put forward their name to the following email: donegallgfareferee@gmail.com Once you put your name forward you will be notified by Declan Callaghan with a start date of this course along with additional information about what it’s about. The first home senior league matches of the season are on this Saturday with Cloughneely the visitors to Towney, throw in times are reserves at 3pm with the seniors at 4:30pm.

Our May club meeting takes place on Monday 8^th in the Tea Rooms all welcome.
