Club Meeting
This month’s club meeting takes place on Wednesday 27th at 9pm in Towney, all welcome.
Underage
Our Under 13s host Na Rossa this Wednesday, our Under 17s were defeated by a strong Naomh Padriag on Friday and the club would like to thank them for their kind jersey presentation for Daniel McCloskey, our Under 15 travel to Movile on Monday in their opening championship match. Our Under 14 Girls played their third round of the league on Tuesday evening against Naomh Ultan, commiserations to the girls who were very unfortunate. Well done to everyone involved who never gave up.
Our Gaelic4Teens programme have organised a training session for the U16 & U14 girls group on Tuesday 19th of July (tomorrow evening) from 7-8pm. Our Donegal Ladies County Player, Suzanne White from Killybegs, will be doing the coaching session with the girls, alongside Maggie Farrelly who is a coordinator with the Gaelic4Teens and also a National Referee. The Donegal Ladies Development Officer, John Gibbons will also be in attendance. We hope to see as many of the girls out on the field tomorrow evening (Tuesday) for this session as it would be great for the girls to learn and develop more skills throughout this session organised kindly by the Gaelic4Teens. Feel free to spread the word around if this is an interest to those in the wider community who would like to come along to support this.
The Broderick Cup
The 2022 Broderick Cup tournament will be held in Towney on Saturday 6th August at 11am, this competition will be open to all boys from age of 10 to any player playing Under 15, note competition is open to families living away from home also.
