Congratulations to our ladies who defeated Sean MacCumhaills in the Junior B Final in Ardara on Sunday morning in a very close sporting contest, the final score was 3-10 to 2-10 which took the cup back to the parish for the first time since 2004 and ending a hugely successful season with the division three and county Gaeltacht cups already won. Scorers in the final were: Leah McDowell 2-01, Ellie Hegarty 1-03, Eva Gallagher 0-04 Saoirse O'Donnell 0-01, Deirdre Ward 0-01.
Seniors
Despite a promising opening half our seniors bowed out of the championship quarter finals against Naomh Conaill in Fintra on Sunday, things just did not go our way in the second half against the wind and Naomh Conaill took advantage, thanks to the players and management for their efforts over the season. Our reserves qualified for the championship semi-finals after a 2-03 to 0-04 win over Milford the goals coming from Pauric Love and Darragh O’Donnell they play Aodh Ruadh this Sunday at 1:30 in MacCumhaill Park, the very best of luck lads.

You are all invited to join the us this Saturday night in John Joes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our three in-a-row winning Under 21 teams from 1972, 1973 and 1974. There will be live music and refreshments plus presentations to the players, all welcome!!
