Our seniors were narrowly defeated away to St Michaels on Saturday evening 0-11 to 0-10 while our reserves lost 3-10 to 2-07 no matches this weekend, best of luck to Donegal seniors and minors in the Ulster Semi Finals in Cavan on Saturday evening and best of luck to all the lads from the club representing both teams.
Underage
Our Under 14s defeated Bundoran in the opening round of the championship in Towney on Friday the play the away fixture this Wednesday at 7:30pm, our Under 16s host Killybegs in the league opener this Friday at 8pm
Well done to our Under 12 Gaelic 4girls who took part in an Ulster Blitz in Badoney on Saturday last, the girls played very well and done our club proud. The also played at half-time of Donegal V Cavan Ulster senior semi-final.
Ladies
Lidl, proud supporters of Ladies Gaelic Football, are committed to supporting the grassroots of the game.
Now, through a new store competition, starting on Thursday 26th May and running until Sunday, 10th July, Lidl Donegal Town customers are invited to nominate their local Ladies Gaelic Football Club to win cash prizes.
Using the nomination card, offered at the till with every purchase (two cards given for over €20 spent) customers can vote for their local club from the list of clubs on the in-store competition unit.
€1,000 is available to be won in each store with an additional three prizes of €5,000 to be won on Lidl's social media platforms (see Lidl Ireland's Facebook page for details). Lidl will have donated €160,000 to Ladies Gaelic Football Clubs at the end of this competition.
