Our seniors remain top of Division One following a hard fought win at home to St Eunans on Sunday a Mark Sweeney goal was the vital score in a 1-08 to 0-10 win while our Reserves were defeated 1-10 to 0-10 no league matches this weekend and we wish our Junior team the best of luck at the County Gaeltacht Championship this weekend on Sunday they face hosts Downings on Sunday at 1pm. Our ladies side were defeated by a very good Ardara side in the league on Friday evening.

Tom Purcell, Maynooth, Co. Kildare & late of Moyne, Templetuohy, Co. Tipperary,died on Friday 27th April 2018. In the early 1960’s Tom worked in the vegetable factory in Meenaneary and played for Kilcar in the Senior Football Championship of 1963 He scored two goals in the first game v Dungloe.
